Taken great photos of ships in your port? As a member you can easily submit them to the photo database, credited with your name as photographer.
- Become a member. You only need a username and password; an email address is optional.
- Wait for approval. To prevent spam we approve new members by hand, usually within a day.
- Submit your photos. Choose the photo and enter the ship name and date. We will add it to the right ship.
What we look for
- Only photos you took yourself.
- Ships in or around a port: IJmuiden, or the port where you live or work.
- JPG or PNG, preferably sharp and not cropped too tightly; 25 MB maximum.
- No photos from the internet and no scans from books, magazines or postcards.

For businesses
Do you run a business near a port, such as a restaurant, hotel, taxi, shop, ship chandler or port service? List your business in the port guide for free, so crew, visitors and locals can find you.
Send us:
- your business name and the port
- address, phone, website and opening hours
- a short description, optionally with an offer for crew
